So yeah, I’ll start it off.
Recently, I have been feeling severely unworthy. I sin so much, and God forgives so much more! I have started to meditate on 1 John 1:9, which says,
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”
It’s amazing to dwell in the faithfulness of God when our faithfulness comes up so short.

New prayer request!
So I’m officially applying to seminary this week! I’m very excited, and hopeful that God will lead me in His perfect will. The seminary is the Bethlehem Institutes, and is located in Minneapolis, MN. It is affiliated with John Piper and Bethlehem Baptist Church. It is a four year program, and the course syllabus looks great! Here is a link if you are interested:

Pray that God would lead me in this endeavor!
Also, another prayer request, I am blessed to say that God has given me the gift of a relationship. Right now, things are going slow (which is great), but I will need a lot of prayer for God’s direction and guidance.

I have been meditating on Psalms 27:13-14:
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!”
This past week has been a difficult one for me. The relationship I was in has ended. I know that God has a plan and a purpose for all things, but He never said it would be easy. I have been continually reassured by this passage in Psalms to be patient and wait. I know that God is good.
Psalms 56:8 has also been a comfort to me.
“Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll — are they not in your record?”
I may take heart, for God knows my sorrow, and He is faithful to turn my sorrow into joy.
“Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.” – Psalms 126:5
John Piper has made a very helpful prayer list for those who are going through times of grief:
1. Beleive with all your heart in the absolute sovereignty of God. Pray that God would give you that conviction.
2. Believe with all your heart that everything God does is right and good. Pray that God will give you that assurance.
3. Repent of all the times you have questioned God or found fault with Him in the way He has treated you. Pray that God would humble you to see these murmurings as sinful.
4. Be satisfied with the holy will of God and do not murmur.
